David Lee loves Ferraris so much that he has nine of them.
Lee is recognized as having one of the most complete Ferrari supercar collections in existence. He currently owns a 288 GTO, 288 GTO EVO (one of only five), F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari. In August, 2014 Lee was invited to display all five cars from his collection at The Quail Motorsports Gathering at the Pebble Beach classic car weekend.
Lee’s collection also includes a Ferrari 275 GTB, une Ferrari 330 GTS, une Ferrari 488 Spider, a Ferrari FF, a Ferrari F12 berlinetta, a Ferrari California T and, in August 2014, he paid a record $2.2 million at the Pebble Beach Gooding & Company auction for a 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso.
Lee says “Ferrari is not one single direction,” he says, pointing out the variety of his models. It’s about racing, history and how collectible it is.
