Drawing Inspiration from Nature: Designer Joe Wong found inspiration in the natural world, drawing from the grace of insects and marine creatures for the exterior design. Within the cockpit, a carbon-fiber shell-shaped driver’s seat awaits, complemented by a quick-release steering wheel and racing-inspired features, including a roof-mounted touch display for managing ventilation, heating, windshield defrosting, and interior lighting.

Under the Hood: Mechanically, the Apollo Intensa Emozione, assembled by Manifattura Automobili Torino, boasts a centrally positioned 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine capable of revving up to 9000 rpm. This powerplant, a product of the Cremonese company Autotecnica Motori, further refined by HWA AG, churns out approximately 780 hp at 8500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. Power is efficiently transmitted to the rear wheels via a Hewland 6-speed sequential manual transmission, controllable through paddles mounted on the steering wheel.

Carbon Fiber Excellence: The vehicle’s construction predominantly features carbon fiber, supplemented by components crafted from high-strength steel, aluminum, and titanium. Of particular note is the exposed engine compartment, optimizing air intake efficiency and overall performance. The entire chassis weighs a mere 105 kg, while retaining the rigidity necessary to meet LMP2 category standards without the need for an internal roll cage.

Fine-Tuned Performance: Bilstein provides three-way adjustable shock absorbers (offering comfort, sport, and auto modes), while a Brembo composite braking system, featuring 380 x 34mm discs, 6-piston front calipers, and 4-piston rear calipers, ensures precise stopping power. Michelin Sport Cup 2 high-performance tires guarantee maximum grip and performance, with the differential supplied by Pankl Racing Systems. Notably, the vehicle offers variable ground clearance, and the wheel anti-lock system offers ten customizable modes.
