Overview
The one-off Bugatti La Voiture Noire, unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, is now discreetly offered for sale. For years its ownership remained a closely guarded secret. It has now been confirmed that the original buyer was former Volkswagen Group chairman Ferdinand Piëch.
Piëch acquired the car in 2019 for approximately €16.7 million (including taxes) — at the time the most expensive new car ever sold. He passed away the same year and never took delivery. The car was delivered in 2021 to his son, Anton Piëch.
