🚗🌟 Special Editions of the Veyron, Odes to Luxury and Exclusivity 🌟🚗

Special editions of the Bugatti Veyron are now part of luxury and high-performance automobile history. These editions aimed to extract extra euros through exclusivity, style, and glamour, serving as marketing tools to attract the attention of billionaires willing to spend mountains of money. From the outset, Bugatti played this card very well, creating editions for practically all versions of the Veyron. Now, with the Bugatti Chiron on the assembly line, let’s take a look back at all the special editions of the Bugatti Veyron. The difficult part is choosing one!

🔷 BUGATTI VEYRON FBG PAR HERMÉS 🔷 Starting this journey with the most special Bugatti Veyrons, we have the Bugatti Veyron FBG par Hermés. It was a special collaboration with the French fashion house, adorning the interior of this Veyron with the finest leathers. This luxury came at a cost, as it could be up to €600,000 more than a regular Veyron. The number of Hermés editions produced is uncertain, but there could be more than five.

🔶 BUGATTI VEYRON SANG NOIR 🔶 The Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir followed shortly after, sporting a sinister look with its entirely black exterior bodywork. However, inside, a powerful contrast was opted for, with a unique interior upholstered in dark orange leather that really caught the eye. It was inspired by the Bugatti Atlantique 57S from 1930 and also introduced wheels that would remain in the Veyron range for many years.

🔷 BUGATTI VEYRON PUR SANG 🔷 At the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang was born, a very exclusive version showcasing the possibilities of customization in terms of materials: the exterior combined chromed aluminum with carbon fiber. Such mixes would remain prevalent in the future of the Bugatti Veyron. Five units of this Veyron Pur Sang were manufactured, with one of them located in our country, owned by Real Madrid footballer Karim Benzema.

🔶 BUGATTI VEYRON BLUE CENTENAIRE 🔶 The year 2009 was very special for Bugatti: they celebrated their centenary! The first gift they offered to the world, at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, was the Bugatti Veyron Blue Centenaire. Its main novelty was its curious color combination, featuring Bugatti’s classic blue but finished in matte. A unique unit that was already sold before its presentation.

🔷 BUGATTI VEYRON CENTENAIRE 🔷 Shortly thereafter, at the 2009 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Bugatti presented its most serious tribute to the brand’s centenary, unveiling four exclusive Veyrons that paid homage to the brand’s past and four of its best drivers: Jean-Pierre Wimille, Achille Varzi, Malcolm Campbell, and Hermann Zu Leiningen. The four color combinations were taken directly from the racing cars used by these drivers: Bleu France, Rosso Italiano, British Racing Green, and Deutsches Reinweiss. Spectacular!

🔶 BUGATTI VEYRON SANG BLEU 🔶 We arrive at the convertible version of the Veyron with the Sang Bleu, a special edition also presented in 2009 but on the other side of the pond, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where another material that would become very fashionable in Bugatti was used: tinted carbon fiber. In this case, blue carbon fiber was combined with chrome aluminum undersides. The brown interior was the cherry on top of a spectacular ensemble: theoretically, it was a unique specimen, but it’s unclear if any more were produced with this color combination.

🔷 BUGATTI VEYRON L’OR BLANC 🔷 This project took another twist in the materials used in the Veyron: this time, porcelain was the star. In collaboration with the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur in Berlin, Bugatti created a spectacular Veyron. Porcelain linings could be found both outside and inside, and its price was no less than €1.65 million. Over time, several Veyrons were made with this peculiar combination of materials, including also in other colors, like one in black/red.

🔶 BUGATTI VEYRON VITESSE WRC 🔶 With the arrival of the sportiest Veyron, the SuperSport and the Vitesse (coupe and convertible), the brand created special editions named WRC (World Record Car). These celebrated the speed record of this beast: the Vitesse achieved a top speed of 408.84 km/h, making it the fastest convertible vehicle on the planet. Eight examples of the Vitesse WRC were manufactured, each priced at two million euros. Quite something!

🔷 BUGATTI VEYRON VENET 🔷 Art and luxury often go hand in hand, so Bugatti decided to enlist French sculptor Bernar Venet to create a limited edition of the convertible Veyron, especially designed for art collectors. It was presented at the Ace Gallery in Beverly Hills, and some sources claim that up to 17 units were produced. Changes affected the aesthetics, giving the ensemble a worn bronze and rust appearance, mixed with numerous mathematical formulas inscribed both on the exterior and interior. Curious, very curious.

🔶 BUGATTI VEYRON ‘LES LÉGENDES’ 🔶 Bugatti was taking longer than expected to sell the last units of the Veyron, so they decided to take action. They chose to create six exclusive Bugatti Veyrons that paid homage to legends of the brand, individuals who had historical significance in the development of Bugatti. With spectacular color combinations, Bugatti created different tempting options; only three units of each would be manufactured, instantly conjuring up 18 of the most expensive and exclusive Veyrons.

🔷 BUGATTI VEYRON LAFINALE 🔷 The Veyron LaFinale marked the end of Bugatti Veyron production. Created for the biggest Bugatti collector, who also owns several ‘Legendes,’ and who lives closer than you’d ever think, this Veyron boasts a spectacular color combination, with Bordeaux carbon fiber with black, while inside beige is combined with red. In the last photo of the gallery, you can see this specimen with the first Veyron ever made, the first and last of a car that is already part of the most golden history of automobiles.
