Description

The Koenigsegg Ghost Squadron Tour Mallorca 2026 – End of April Yearly Event 🇪🇸🇸🇪

The Koenigsegg Ghost Squadron Tour Mallorca 2026 🇪🇸🇸🇪 is the next major European edition of Koenigsegg’s exclusive annual owner event. It will take place in Mallorca, Spain from

Sunday 26 April to Tuesday 28 April 2026

continuing the brand’s tradition of spectacular destination tours that bring together the global “Ghost Squadron” 👻 family.

Timing

The Koenigsegg Ghost Squadron Tour Mallorca 2026 runs Sunday 26 April to Tuesday 28 April 2026 (three intense driving days). The spring timing ensures perfect Mediterranean weather: warm sunshine ☀️, blooming landscapes, and ideal conditions for high-performance driving on the island’s twisty mountain roads and coastal routes. Duration: 3 driving days (Sunday–Tuesday) plus possible arrival and finale activities — keeping the compact and focused format of recent tours.

This slots perfectly as the 2026 European Ghost Squadron Tour, following the confirmed U.S. Ghost Squadron Tour in August 2026 (August 9–16, Lake Tahoe → Napa Valley → Monterey Car Week, including The Quail, Motorsports Gathering) 🇺🇸

Purpose

Just like previous editions, the Ghost Squadron Tour is Koenigsegg’s flagship annual owner event. Named after the Swedish Air Force’s historic Ghost Squadron (whose emblem appears on every Koenigsegg built in Ängelholm, Sweden 🇸🇪), it brings together the “Ghost Squadron” 👻 family for an unforgettable mix of:

  • Thrilling drives on world-class roads.
  • Track time in a controlled environment.
  • Luxury hospitality, fine dining, and exclusive experiences.
  • Strengthening the global Koenigsegg owner community, with direct engagement from Christian von Koenigsegg and the factory team from Sweden 🇸🇪.

Mallorca was chosen for its stunning scenery, legendary driving roads (especially the Serra de Tramuntana mountain passes — a UNESCO World Heritage site with dramatic sea views), and status as one of Europe’s premier luxury destinations. This builds directly on the 2025 Portugal route that ran from Lisbon to Évora with a grand finale at Estoril Circuit.

Participants

The event is dedicated exclusively to Koenigsegg’s most valued customers. The Mallorca 2026 edition is expected to feature about 30 Koenigsegg hypercars belonging to some of the largest and most valuable car collections around the world. These passionate global collectors — many of whom actively search the same web for the rarest hypercars — gather for this ultra-private event.

Well-known public collectors who have participated in previous Ghost Squadron Tours or are part of the wider Koenigsegg owner community include Manny Khoshbin 🇺🇸🏎️, Markus Esser 🇩🇪🏎️, Dan I Am 🇬🇧🏎️, Jeffrey Cheng 🇭🇰🏎️, Marc Haddad 🇱🇧🏎️, Carina Lima 🇵🇹🇲🇨🏎️ and many other prominent collectors from the global hypercar scene.

Many of these owners are supported by Koenigsegg’s full official dealer network (as listed on the official Koenigsegg website):

Route (Style of Past Events)

The Mallorca route will balance scenic beauty, challenging corners, and safe high-speed sections with drives around the island and a private track finale.

This follows the proven format of previous tours: multi-day scenic convoys culminating in track action.

Significance

The Ghost Squadron Tour Mallorca 2026 will continue a growing legacy of celebrating independent Swedish engineering 🇸🇪 and the “The Show Must Go On” spirit while reinforcing the tight-knit global owner community. It positions Mallorca as the 2026 European highlight before the larger U.S. tour in August.

The annual tradition continues to grow in scale and prestige, always delivering unique destinations and lifelong memories for the Ghost Squadron.

Complete Overview of Known Past Editions

The Ghost Squadron Tour (originally called the Koenigsegg Owners Tour) has been running since around 2016, with events held worldwide. Here is the most comprehensive overview based on documented history:

  • Pre-2018 (Scandinavia / Sweden 🇸🇪): Early Owners Tours took place in Sweden (at least two editions before 2018), focusing on local roads near the factory in Ängelholm. These smaller gatherings laid the foundation for the modern Ghost Squadron events.
  • 2018 – Southern Germany 🇩🇪 (Black Forest & Ancestral Roots): The first official Ghost Squadron Tour (rebranded from Owners Tour). 16 Koenigseggs gathered in Baden-Baden. Highlights included delivery of the final two Agera “Final Edition” cars (“Thor” and “Vader”), drives through the Black Forest, a stop at the Schwarzenbach Dam, go-karting, a visit to the ancestral village of Koenigseggwald, and a ferry crossing on Lake Constance. Christian von Koenigsegg led in a green carbon Regera. The event spanned three days (Friday–Sunday).
  • 2020 – Switzerland (Alps): A smaller gathering of 13 Koenigseggs near Andermatt (The Chedi hotel). The convoy tackled mountain passes including the Oberalppass for scenic drives and photos. This edition replaced a planned France tour due to circumstances at the time.
  • 2021 – France 🇫🇷 (Champagne to Paris & Reims): The tour started with a pre-tour in Champillon (Champagne region). Participants rode shotgun in a Regera to beautiful Paris, where the convoy stunned onlookers with the brand-new orange Jesko “Pumpkin”. After the Paris kick-off, the group enjoyed the French countryside in fast Agera RS models. On Day 2, they hit the Ecuyers circuit for track sessions (including the first onboard footage of a Jesko) and visited the historic Reims-Gueux racetrack for photos. Around 23 Koenigseggs took part.
  • 2024 – Northern Italy 🇮🇹 (30th Anniversary Edition): A record-breaking gathering of 30 Koenigsegg hypercars (the largest to date) celebrating Koenigsegg’s 30th anniversary. The convoy cruised stunning roads around Lake Garda near Verona and into the Dolomites, featuring narrow and twisty Italian routes with breathtaking views. The lineup included new Jeskos, a CC850, plenty of Regeras, Ageras, One:1 specials, and more. A gold chrome Jesko Attack stood out. The event was widely documented, including by SUPERCARS & Co.
  • 2025 – Portugal 🇵🇹: The event featured 27 Koenigsegg hypercars (collectively valued at over $100 million) on a compact but intense 3–4 day tour. It began in the Lisbon area with a grand depart, moved through scenic roads to Évora and the Alentejo region (including a memorable ferry crossing of the entire fleet across the Sado River from Setúbal to the Comporta peninsula), and culminated in a high-speed finale with private track time at the legendary Autódromo do Estoril. Standouts included the Jesko Attack in Viola SE30 livery, a Regera with over $1 million in factory options, the unique “Medusa” from Singapore, and various CC850/Agera models. Some owners took delivery of brand-new cars during the tour.

Additionally, smaller or “mini” Ghost Squadron gatherings have occurred in the USA (e.g., a 20-car mini tour documented around August 16 in one year, often tied to Monterey Car Week or regional drives in California), and occasional U.S.-based owner meetups have taken place in places like Seattle or Southern California.

These past events have consistently delivered flawless performance from the cars, lifelong friendships among owners, spectacular photography/video content, and unforgettable “eggs” 🥚 in motion.

Koenigsegg Owners Tour 2021 taking place in France! We start with a little pre-tour in Champillon from where I ride shotgun in a Regera to beautiful Paris. There we were completely stunned by the brand new Jesko “Pumpkin”! After the kick-off we enjoy the French countryside
