The McLaren Senna: the ultimate road-legal track car
Specification
800PS and 800Nm from a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the most powerful internal combustion engine McLaren has ever built. 800kg of downforce made possible by pioneering active aerodynamics. The lightest McLaren since the iconic F1 with dry weight of under 1200kg. A power-to-weight ratio of 668PS-per-tonne (659bhp) that ensures it will set the fastest lap times of any McLaren road car to date. 0-124mph (0-200km/h) in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 211mph (340km/h). Next-generation carbon ceramic brakes that utilise racing technology. Discover the savage performance of the McLaren Senna.
With 500 cars being built, at a cost of £750,000 including UK taxes, they are all already allocated including a final unit sold on the evening for £2 million plus tax in a charitable auction! The car takes aerodynamics and performance as the absolute priority with a gigantic active rear wing, aerodynamic parts throughout, an exhaust exit from the rear deck and even glass panels on the doors to see the apexes on track.

The new Senna GTR for the track just takes aerodynamics to a whole new stratosphere! With only 75 to be built at a cost of £1m plus taxes it’s the flagship of the McLaren.
McLaren Senna GTR Concept Is Brand’s Fastest Non-F1 Car Ever

McLaren unveils the track-only McLaren Senna GTR concept at the 2018 Geneva motor show. McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt confirms that up to 75 examples of the most extreme McLaren ever will be hand assembled in Woking, England, in 2019.

Based around the same carbon fibre Monocage III structure as the McLaren Senna to ensure core strength and rigidity needed for a top flight track car, the McLaren Senna GTR will be similar in weight to the 1,198kg road-legal McLaren Senna.

Every car will be hand-built at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, Surrey, England with a production run of just 500 units, all of which are already sold. The McLaren Senna is listed at the price of £750,000 (euro 850.000 -US$837,000) with the final car auctioned at a price of £1,916,793 (US$2,670,000)

Named after the late Formula One driver Ayrton Senna, McLaren’s latest supercar is both track-focused and street legal.

Based on the same 4.0L twin turbo V8 engine but with a minimum expected increase of around 25ps the new Senna GTR will also generate over 1000kg’s of downforce ensuring the McLaren Senna GTR will post the fastest ever McLaren lap times outside of Formula 1.

Watch the McLaren Senna takes on South Africa’s fearsome Kyalami circuit during hot weather testing, as Senior Test Driver Gareth Howell explains how it is tuned for different racetracks around the world.
